Was it worth the $400 (BF Deal) price tag? Overall, how much of an improvement was it from the G7?
Thank you !!!!
I think you can only scan in 4 or 5 prints so I did both thumbs twice and even with a screen protector on I rarely have issues.
Also, ended up with a regular plastic screen protector instead of a tempered glass one as I read that those can make the fingerprint reader unusable due to the thickness of them.
Everyone else uses a separate foundry company (usually TSMC) to manufacturer their chips, so that shouldn't matter to anyone's purchase decision.
The size of a phone, unarguably, is a very subjective thing. I'm using monstrous sized LG V60 and wouldn't want to go size smaller given how I've gotten accustomed to it's size. I only meant that going up a size always takes some time to get used to. And then, there are good chances you'd get used to consuming content on that larger screen and your hands get used to the movement needed on the bigger screen. At that time going back to smaller screen can feel a step down. But that's not to say that some people, depending on their usage, hands size and/or preference would rather prefer going back to smaller size. I'm from the former group, you're from the latter. There is nothing to disagree.
Also, I believe that the amazing telephoto camera along with mmWave makes the Pro the better buy despite being about $100 over-priced. I admit though that the regular 6 feels more solid in hand than Pro which is because the Pro's larger screen.
Yes. Both phones are heavy but the regular 6 feels slightly heavier to me. One thing to remember is that these 2 phones along with the also heavy Pixel 5a have huge "all-day" batteries.

i went from a galaxy S9+ to a galaxy s20 FE and other than the newness of it all, i feel like it took a few steps back and really do not like the phone
wondering if it's worth trying the pixel
I always like the stock software of the Pixels, my daily driver is a Pixel 3a. I use the Samsung S20 when I do landscape photography cuz it has an awesomen ultra wide angle lens. And I use an LG phone for my music streaming cuz the phones have a more powerful sound/music output.
I'm really waiting for Google to come out with 1 phone with all those 3 features.
*That's what she said.
Still getting used to the size of this thing.
