As someone who has a pixel 6 Pro, I highly recommend just getting the 6. It's so much cheaper and the Pro has no features that are worth the pricetag over the non pro. If I could do it again, I'd get the pixel 6.

The phone is big on the hands and quite heavy. Be warned. You'll end up missing smaller phone size of 5.7to 6.2 inch screens

Nova launcher is immensely customizable, and I can't recommend it enough. You can move the stock Pixel launcher elements wherever you want, among MANY other options.

Its the exynos high end chip from samsung with some possible clock speed changes and a few custom bits. I'd actually leave it for a bit if google was making a brand new SoC.

Like with their Titan security keys, there wasn't really very much 'custom' about it.
While manufactured by Samsung, I think it is a different design with two big x1 cores and then more energy efficient mid cores than what others are using. Kind of a cool explanation for why they did this - trying to avoid the overheating so many other phones suffer from when recording 4k video for more than half a min or so. Processor is actually made my Samsung.... But designed by Google. 😊
But does Samsung even make its own chips?
I thought they were not a foundry and their chips are still made by TSMC
Or do they actually make them?

When you get the phone, don't recommend getting a glass screen protector. It just doesn't work with it. You'll have to go with film. The ones certified by Google are all film.

Pixel 6 on screen fingerprint reader is kind of finky for some. It takes half a second to unlock at times which is super annoying.
Half a second is fast for Pixel 6

I upgraded to the 6 from my launch 3. The phone does feel massive, both in terms of size and weight. It is by far the best phone I have ever owned (I have had multiple iPhones, HTC, Samsung, and Google phones).

Remember tablets were 7 inches? We are almost taking a tablet in our pockets... 6.2 in is my maximum, and hard to find unfortunately.
Big difference between 7" 16x9 and 6.4" 20x9. This phone is much narrower than even the nexus 6 16x9 6" screen from back in the day.

This is the case for apple to, made by tsmc. Nvidia, made by Samsung currently then tsmc now. Amd tsmc. Pretty much the only foundries are TSMC and Samsung. Intel make some of their own stuff but then uses TSMC as well.
