The price is not actually $15 per month but adds an additional $3.50 per month in fees and taxes. That said, it works great for me in Lancaster PA.

For those that are at less than 90 days and don't mind getting a new phone number there was a good tip from a previous thread. Activate the SIM online at https://my.mintmobile.c
Visible costs $25/month for unlimited data. No taxes or fees.
Mint prices are vary from $15/month for 4GB to $30/month for unlimited data.
So if you want unlimited data, go with Visible. If you can live with 4GB, then go with Mint.
But be aware that with Mint, you will have to prepay 12 months in order to get their lowest price when renewing with them.

the recovery fee applies to the 3 free months, i believe.

Visible normally gets me 5 down and 2 or 3 up. The Mint has at least in the 70s down and 7-9 up.
