The price is not actually $15 per month but adds an additional $3.50 per month in fees and taxes. That said, it works great for me in Lancaster PA.

I'm in a rather populated area too, just outside Flint, MI

TOTAL COST FOR MINT (2 people, 2 years).
90 + 180 + 180 + 180 = 630 PLUS TAXES Plus $50 for international roaming = $680 x 2 = $1,360.00 and I estimate taxes to be about $80.00 for the two years (maybe more).
Total cost $1,360.00 + 80.00 = $1,440.00.
TMobile (2 people, 2 years).
$90.00 x 24 = $2,160.00
But I get $13 per month for my Netflix Account.... (13 x 24) = -$312
Total Cost becomes... $1,848.00
Difference is $408.00 after 2 years BUT T-Mobile has phone deals... just signed up to get two free Pixel 6 Pro after trade in... figure a value of $1,400.00 after trade in.
So based on my math... I think T-Mobile is better for me right now... or at least for the next two years... then I may switch... plan on keeping the new Pixel 6 Pro for 4 years.
Other thing to consider is TMobile Tuesdays... I put a value of this of $25 per year.
So, I don't even know if Mint would be acceptable to me...
My wife used 20GB of data last month... so I know i need their unlimited plan. And with my kid... we used about 12GB of hotspot last month... with Mint unlimited... you only get 5GB of hotspot and then they will charge you if you want more... you can by 5GB for $15 and 10GB for $20.... so my monthly bill could increase by $20 per month.
It just does not make sense to me... I think Tmobile is CHEAPER overall.
My current Tello was a Stacksocial deal for 2GB/month for $40 for 6 months, comes out to $6.67/month. Perfect for me, I rarely break 1GB a month.

Visible was kinda weird when I tried them. Sometimes I'd get 70mbps, and sometimes I get 15mbps. It wasn't a signal strength issue, so it seems they throttle very dynamically. With Mint, I was very consistently getting 70+mbps.
edit: mbps, not kbps.
Is there an everlasting promotional pricing for renewals also, and they're only getting $30/month from people who don't bother to look for deals?
Maybe I'm spoiled. $7.50/month is a good deal. $15/month seems like that should be normal everyday pricing. $30/month is too much.
I will be doing a lot of traveling next year and was wondering what is the going rate for unlimited data nowadays. How much should i expect to pay, what is a good deal . . . ?
