This used to be $140 the past 2 years for BF at Costco.
Cool. If they do that again, I'll just return this one and get the deal
It looks like it has the following:
3-in-1 Stair Tool
Designed to clean stairs, including corners and edges.
3" Tough Stain Tool
Scrub and suction away stains on carpet, stairs and upholstery.
Rinse & Storage Tray
Easily clean and rinse the brush rolls and nozzle, then neatly store your machine.

And some larger than standard cleaning solutions.
It does look like it does NOT have the upholstery attachment with the filter in it for pet hair if that's important to you. When looking at reviews, a lot of people didn't really like that attachment much, but its probably a personal preference either way.

So you're saying, once I return that 6th loaf of moldy bread, I'm screwed?

I don't have this, so I won't hate, but if you regularly need to clean carpets, consider waiting for the big green to hit $299 again and spring for that. Had it for years and it's a beast....and amazing.
Whats the big green??

kleszaIs there a rinse only option on this machine? I skimmed the manual and didn't see one. I know you can use the machine without any cleaning solution to rinse but a rinse only dial or switch is a more convenient.
There is not. As part of setting up the machine, you actually mix some detergent into the clean water tank. Unless you elect not to mix in any solution, you don't have a "rinse-only" function. There is definitely no button or switch between "clean" and "rinse."

Refurb for $85 at Ollie's if you have one of the Nov. coupons.
Just a heads up I recently bought one from Ollie's and it had hair, scuff marks and some kind of stains on it. There was also water in certain parts of the machine . Not sure if someone bought that particular one and used it then returned it or if Bissell's remanufacturing quality control is not up to par. I ended up just returning it , I'm not willing to risk getting another in the same condition.

I've purchased two of them in the past and both were like new. Guessing someone had to have returned the one you received, but who knows.

The image says this is "Deluxe" model. Not "Pet Pro". If so this is a discontinued model. Walmart has "Pet Pro" for $199.

The link (and model number) is petpro. Also, the Walmart has a shorter hose, shorter power cord, and fewer accessories per https://vacuumcleanerreviewszone....-1115.html

What is SD'ers recommendation for a house with mostly wooden floors. I have a few area rugs, but mostly walnut floors. No pets.
Area rug in dining room and TV room, and a runner on the hallway.
Should I buy a separate item for periodically cleaning the wood floors?
All I know is the local floor guy said to be sure to buy a vacuum where the beater brush can be turned off.
Another friend said to buy a separate smaller vacuum to do the cheaper wood floors on the second floor, since I have only use of one arm (busted elbow), and then don't need to lug it up the stairs.
Thanks!
Lyndy
