YMMV......please be gentle...I found this item on clearance about two weeks ago but the store was out of stock and the appliance sales rep told me they were no longer carrying it and it was on clearance at all the stores (non stock item). well yesterday I went to another Lowes and saw the display for the V15 but the V11 torque was sitting in its place. I asked the sales rep if I could buy the V11 display and he said yes because it is non stock now. He volunteered to check a Tupperware bin where they keep accessories for their vacuums. All the accessories where there except the charger. To my surprise there was another BRAND NEW unit in the Tupperware tub. I was willing to pay $350 each but when he rang them up, there were marked down further to $170!!!!
I went to another store today and got a third one for 170 by simply asking the manager if he could price match the non stock price I got from the other store yesterday.
The store did not have a display but I looked above the vacuums and found a Tupperware tub that had the item number 1297750 written on it. I asked the sales rep to check the tub for me and there was a brand new unit in there too. I simply asked the manager if he could price match the $170 clearance price I got yesterday and he did. The key is being super nice to the Lowes employees and they will be willing to help you. I have receipts if needed but I don't know how to post them on the mobile app. If anyone can tell me how I can share receipts and the barcode photo.

The manager at the last store explained that once a non stock item goes on clearance, the price will keep dropping ($699 to $350 to $170) until there is only 1 left (likely the display) then the item will go back to the regular price. Since most stores will likely only have 1 then the $699 price might ring up. I actually found a brand new one on Sunday but the manager at that store said that it is $699 at his store and the best he could do was $550. (Likely because that unit was the last one at his store - I gave him the item number and he told me they don't have any left and no longer carried it until I showed it to him on a top shelf). I bet he kept that one for himself.
I live in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area by the way. None of the units came with the charging plug but they are only $15 on Amazon.
Good luck to anyone that finds one or three like me. Awesome Christmas gifts!!!!
