These entry-level e-bikes offer a lot of bang for your buck. Both are Class 1 electric bicycles. 6 speed, 250W, 36V, pedal assist only (no hand throttle). Hyper has a good reputation for product support. (I own two of these bikes)
The City model is a commuter/hybrid electric bike with fenders, a chain guard, step-through frame, and a rear rack. 700cc, fits riders taller than about 5'7".

The Mountain model has larger knobby tires, and 26" wheels, so it fits riders up to about 6ft.

Usually priced at $650.

Too bad they don't have an electrocution security mode for sticky fingered crims.
