The City model is a commuter/hybrid electric bike with fenders, a chain guard, step-through frame, and a rear rack. 700cc, fits riders taller than about 5'7".

I think so, if you're looking for a low commitment e-bike. If you later decide you want more out of an e-bike, you would probably be able to sell it for about what you paid, since they're around $650 most of the year.

Electric bicycles are thief magnets in my city.

That's for the mountain one, but plenty of taller people ride them. I'm 6"2" so I went with the City.
