For the price, it's a steal. It has a breakaway power cable, so if you get a flat tire on the back wheel, that will save you a lot of trouble. My first ebike didn't have that, and it was a nightmare.

The worst I can say is that this bike will make you crave more. You'll want faster, farther, and lighter, but you'll have to pay 2.5 times as much.

I have this bike and love it! Great battery and mileage and power. Attached to my bike is an infant/toddler seat and a trailer. Sometimes, I would haul around 3 kids going up very steep hills, and the bike has not let us down. It's worked so well that I never feel like I'm getting a workout.

However, the brakes need some adjustment on a monthly basis. It's an easy task if you has basic bike maintenance skills.

You can look on Facebook marketplace or craigslist and buy a better 500-750w used Ecotric for about $300. Much better components and power/battery. This is barebone ebike and the assist is so weak if you are going on hilly roads.

Depending upon how far this bike can actually go on a charge, it could be a great deal... but I guarantee you'll want to throw it into the ocean with the rest of the ewaste the second you have to pedal it's 51lbs frame anywhere.

I never see them that cheap. Most are 600+ unless it a used Walmart ebike,😅.
Second you can never tell the condition of the batter from a short test ride. It show full but have only 15 minute ride time. Now what you going to do? Spend another 500+ on a good, safe and reliable battery?

I also own this bike....black version. I'm a large guy and this thing has plenty of power and range. Overall very decent quality and looks like a 1k plus bike. One issue is phantom shifting when hitting top speed, bit overall a great e bike

I got the commuter as well couple of weeks back - if you have friends/family, don't buy it.
My wife loves it and wants to claim this as her bike.
It's a lot of fun despite criticism from fancy bike devotees Smilie
