Home Depot has Just saw it on the floor In the aisle with the yellow sticker. The usual location in the shop vac area still has the original price which is like $49. I'm posting from my phone so maybe if I can edit this post later I can add the picture but I don't have a cool brick link or any of the cool stuff you all usually include in post. But thought I'd get this out there as soon as I could. Thanks

Update: 4hours later here to answer some questions the yellow sticker says it's "duststopper low profile cyc dust separ" 12.03 was 44.97 8/27/2021 1002-741-746

And it contains hard 90 degree elbow, 1 hose 36" 2-1/2" diameter, 1 dust stopper to go on bucket. I purchased because I need that 90 elbow since Home Depot literally doesn't have vac hose 90 elbow anywhere in store that will fit 2.5 rigid vac hose.

Also I would attach photo but I can't figure out from phone how to. Thanks

I have used and they work just fine. Don't hook up a dust collector with 500cfm, just use shop vac and it works great. I put edge of clear tape on fleet farm 5 gallon bucket extra tall and it works fine. You don't need Home Depot Bucket for it to work.

Probably a dumb question but you did install the hoses in the appropriate locations, and not reversed, right?
Years ago I sold 5,000 door viewers to a college for their dormitories. They installed them and then got a lot of complaints that you could see inside the rooms. I explained which side went outside and asked them to check to make sure they installed them properly. I never heard back from them. I guess that was my answer.

I had great success using this on my first DIY project cleaning up after tearing down some drywall and trim. I'm not 100% sure on the degree to which it helps filter "dust," but it absolutely managed to contain a lot of debris that otherwise would've obliterated the HEPA bag and filter I was using. Worth the money, imo.

If you have tried this and had bad results you likely had a bad seal against your bucket. You can use some of the flexible window caulk rolls that are for fixing drafts. Frost king is what I think I used but any other flexible material that won't cure would likely work. Press it into the channel around the lip and you can make your seal and then it will work great

I have one. It works great. Expensive for being just a plastic thing. A good buy if you can get it for $12.

Great deal. I bought it at full price $50. Catches larger items and some fine particles. Your filter lasts longer.

I mainly use it on my table saw, miter saw and router table.

I would purchase it again at full price. Debating if I should go scout for this deal!!

Was able to get the new version at the clearance price. Item rang up full price checker was able to price adjust. Awesome deal! Works well with a craftsman shop vac if anyone was debating.

OP linked sweeping-angle one. However, it seems like the right-angle one (BS'd above) is the clearance item.
It's worth it. Saved us dozens of bags/filters over the past 2 years. Hook it up to a table saw, floor sander, or whatever makes sawdust and it will catch 99% of the debris. Just make sure you empty the bucket before it's about 3/4 full and it works great.

This only works with Home Depot 5 gallon bucket IMHO

Local only shows $10 off so it just pays for the bucket :/

I bought this the other day and showed the attendant the 13.03 price. I argued that it was incorrect in the system. As usual, I was wrong as the kit has two angles in it. But I got the new version for $13 so that's nice

Haha yeah they were connected correctly.
The cyclone requires at least 10-12 amps and keep the hose length short and use the elbows to streamline. They say min 5 HP in the literature but I would say min 6-6.5 HP and and use a 1 7/8 for more velocity. It's like Windows 10 needs 2 GB to run. I have one and I tried on 4 vacs. The only one that would work was a 12A one and I used a 1 7/8 to increase velocity. So YMMV. For instance the $50 Ridgid 16 gal has 7.8A motor, not even close to enough power to run this or for that matter much at all.
