Great deal on a try ply pan. Amazon has a 12 inch w/o helper handle for 50.00. Home Depot has some other clad tramontina stuff on sale

If you prefer, Amazon has the same price [amazon.com].
It's the lowest price on Amazon by $13 or so. So, apparently a good price!

Think HomeDepot has the wrong picture. Amazon has pictures of a model with more flared sides. If you look up the model number it appears that is the correct one. The one review from HomeDepot also shows a pan that looks more like the Amazon one.

Similar or better options are always available in either Ross, Marshall's, Tj Maxx or Homegoods

a crap shoot and some luck needed vs a guaranteed product and price.

I haven't been to my local TJ Maxx or Marshall's recently but I remember seeing All Clad pieces usually having a mediocre discount off MSRP.

A couple years ago I bought a 13 piece set of Calphalon Accucore on ROSS for 89.99 but I agree that luck is needed in ROSS, but TJMaxx and Homegoods especially have a huge selection of good pans and pots brands

You could not be more wrong. These are comparable to All-Clad (actually better IMO - I own both). The only thing I would say about this particular item is that the actual flat cooking area is too small for a 12" pan - think 'wok', but not quite that bad. I have the 12" version without the helper and the flat surface is much larger.
