This is so tempting, but I think I'm going to stick with my ad200 for now. I wish this one came along before I got it though! There are accessories and kits for the ad200. I got a remote head extension unit so I have a diffused flash mounted on top, and the rest of the ad200 sitting close to the bottom of the tripod to give it some additional weight. Works really well.

If you currently only have one light then a 2nd light is great to have
Currently use godex flashes, they can overheat quickly especially if using HSS, but even without doing too many shots in a row will slow down recycling time by a lot. Will these have the same issues?
Also I use magmod gels regularly, guessing those won't work with these. Any similar systems that allow for quick gel changes? Thanks.
The Magmod Octobox with Bowens mount ring allows for quick gel changes but you'll have to buy those things, if you don't have them already.
If any of you have the 400pro please chime in. I so far haven't been blown away with it. I get maybe 250 Flashes at 1/4 to 1/8. Too many misfires. Spoke to Adorama and they thought that was ok number. I think it's way short of specs. Plus Flashpoint seems to be overly sensitive to other transmitters in the area. I also get a black screen every 30 or so where I have to fire to get screen back. My Ad600pro doesn't do this. My Interfits don't have these problems and get 500 Flashes. Adorama did give me options. I'm just seeing what other people have experienced.
This site has a TON of info on this and other Godox
/ Flashpoint (FlashPoint is Adorama's private rebranding of Godox, plus it comes with a good warranty) https://www.facebook.com/groups/godoxusergroup

If you have 2x AD200s (or 2x AD200Pros), you can get the AD-B2 flash head to combine both into a single flash. Robert Hall on YouTube tested this and reported that both together in this configuration give more power than a single AD400Pro. That may be a good option for people to have the versatility of having 1 or 2 flashes as needed.
Edit: Just to mention, I have 1 AD400Pro and 2 AD200Pros (3rd one on the way from the Adorama sale) and I have the AD-B2 adapter. The AD-B2 adapter is a little awkward to pack for on-location because it doesn't fold up and is oddly shaped, but it works really well.
Can you share how is this going to help with my photography or other scenarios kind of new to this never seen something like this quite expensive
This will allow you to take photos that otherwise would be impossible. It fills in when you are in situations where your subject would be too dark against an exposed background. You can freeze motion. It has HSS and TTL for outside and really high shutter speeds. These really are no more expensive then the top tiered Flashes from the camera companies. They are much easier to use then on camera Flashes. My Nikon SB910 had a manual that was like 200 pages. This one is about 8 pages. Lighting is not super complicated with one light. You don't even need a meter. Just think of this as a giant flashlight with a zoom. You can make it as wide or narrow as you desire with softboxes and other accessories. I have probably 20 softboxes etc. My favorites is for outside 38 Parapop and Cheetahstand Colt 45. In Studio I love the 48in 8 or 16 ribbed softbox and either an 84 or 65 inch Umbrella.

Im curious, I have been thinking about picking up a 200 pro but my question is this. If you want to use it with Bowens mount softboxes with or without the dual head, do you have to use that crappy plastic mount they send. Would the 2 head version even fit the opening of a softbox.

If you want to use the AD200Pro with a Bowens modifier, you have to get a bracket. The included hardware won't work.
The Godox/Flashpoint S-type bracket will do this, or the AD-B2 dual-head adapter also has a Bowens mount on it. The S-type bracket is cheap (~$20 USD) and isn't the best, but it gets the job done. If you want, version 2 of the S-type bracket is compatible with round head flashes. Version 1 of the bracket is not compatible with round head flashes, but you can still use the bracket over the body if the flash you are using is slim enough.
And also just to be clear, you can use 1 AD200Pro with the AD-B2. It obviously won't give as much power as 2, but it still works and gives a little more power than using the flash without it.
