Over the years, the 5150 Series Deluxe Poplar Burl Electric Guitar, with its Ebony Fingerboard and striking Aqua Burst finish, has become a symbol of high-quality craftsmanship and innovative design. The 5150 Deluxe Poplar Burl is engineered for speed, comfort, and full-throttle attitude. It boasts a modified Strat-style basswood body, accentuated by a deeper upper body curve for an enhanced aesthetic appeal. The guitar's graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn maple neck is designed with a comfortable modified "C" profile, hand-rubbed satin urethane back finish, and a heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel. The color-matched "hockey stick" headstock, adorned with the EVH logo decal, adds a touch of class to this versatile instrument.
Designed for smooth and speedy playability, the 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets and cream dot inlays. Unlike its famed striped original that had a single humbucking bridge pickup, the all-new 5150 Deluxe is equipped with an HH pickup configuration controlled by a three-way toggle on the upper bout.
The custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking bridge pickup delivers the perfect balance of punch and articulation, offering sweet sustain and thick chunky rhythms in a perfectly balanced EQ curve. The EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking neck pickup provides no-nonsense, balls-to-the-wall overdrive and endless sustain, without compromising on articulate cleans when the volume is rolled down.

Most ESPs and Schecters come out of the same factory, FYI. I'm a Schecter fan, myself.
