Same thing here, I spent less on delivery when I did not have the pass than when I had the pass.
Anyone notice how often they charge you more than the amount they quote at the beginning of a ride? They find all kinds of reasons to charge you. The examples cited in the thread so far are just more examples of how they cheat you. Uber has been using sophisticated techniques to cheat both rides and drivers for years now. The various lawsuits and settlements have done nothing to change that.
Sorry to TC but just wanted to remind people not to get sucked into these things.
Its overpriced without promo, a $10 meal ended up $20 when tip and delivery fees included

Maybe it's because I already have an Uber Eats pass, which is similar.
Edit: I see that if you bring up the link in a browser, the offer is available there. That should do it.
But if we want to take advantage of OP's offer, it seems we'd have to prematurely cancel Uber Eats Pass and hope that that allows signing up for Uber One.
That's probably what I'll do because my Eats Pass expires in just a few weeks.
For me, one of the nicest perks of Uber One is getting higher-rated drivers. That benefit is otherwise hard to get because the Amex Uber VIP promo gives higher-rated drivers only in a few select cities.

The thing is, the OP's offer ends Nov 29. So you'll miss out on the offer unless you manually cancel your Eats Pass before then.
Alternatively, you could apply the Uber One promo to some other Uber account; but then your main account, which might have Amex promo credits and/or Uber cash or other vouchers and promos, wouldn't benefit from Uber One.

$10 meals become $20. $50 meals become $65ish. It has to happen. That is the cost of convenience. Is it "worth" it? It's like getting a hair cut. You pay for the work, not the cost of the scissors.
