I'm an eye surgeon. My kids occasionally play VR games. I am not worried that they will develop shrunken heads or go blind. Consult someone with an MD or OD degree if you have concerns specific to your children's ocular health and don't listen to me or any other internet strangers doing uninformed Google searches on the matter.
FYI for anyone concerned about this, I decided to look it up. There is no consensus that it is bad for children's eyesight development. Of course that doesn't mean that it isn't, but personally I wouldn't be very concerned about it's use in moderation.

Just got the Quest 2, any good recommendations?
That question is the VR equivalent of asking what movie you should watch while providing zero context about what genres you typically enjoy.
Most of the "best of" lists have considerable overlap, so start there. Some of my favorites are
Saints and Sinners
Moss
Synth Riders
Pistol Whip
Walkabout Mini Golf
The Room VR
Oculus or any other VR is not meant for boys. I hope you know what you're doing and not ruining your children's eye sights.
I took it as his friend, not his son. And why can't kids play? What's the difference between this and any other screen? Just make sure they don't spend to much time on it right? I only ask because beat saber is a recommendation for activity for kids at my doctors office.
