i have some "enthusiast" models of headlamps that have the same form factor. no. you dont notice its not in the center. sometimes when its foggy i notice the beam is not centered in my peripheral vision, but its not something that affects the use.

Decent deal and price.. I needed another one of these for around the house and BBQ'ing in the winter months and taking out the trash. The batteries alone are probably worth 5-6$.

In for one. Good for those times when you're working on something that takes a bit longer than expected and it starts to get dark on you. Especially in the winter months. For the price if it doesn't work out can always give it away.

I wonder if a Sofirn magnetic tail cap will work with this? Hopefully the threads are the same, would make it even handier.

While the elastic strap would work on some helmets the single band style strap isn't best suited for rigorous bouncing. It would be better to look at what mount option for any light are available for your helmet then find a light to fit that rather than fitting a certain lamp to your helmet

It's great that they have replacable rechargable batteries. That's big. I think I'm staying with the 260 lumen version in the other thread. They us regular batteries. When I need these things I cant be bothered worrying if the batttery is low or the time to charge it for awhile.

The regular battery version lets me swap and go if batteries are dead when I turn it on.
