If hunting is not your cup of tea but you are a nature lover, I'd still recommend checking the game out. You can play as a wildlife photographer instead, don't need to shoot a single bullet all game, and the environments they've made are stunningly beautiful to just wander around in. I found the game very calming during lockdown last year when I wasn't going outside much, just to stimulate a little dose of nature.

Hunter is a legit good game. I got it free in a humble bundle a year or so ago and ended up really enjoying it.

Hunter is a legit good game. I got it free in a humble bundle a year or so ago and ended up really enjoying it.

Antstream is a netflix like service that lets you stream retro games from the cloud to your phone. The rom selection is a little limited but if building a retropie is out of your skill set, it's a legit good service.

It would be interesting if epic and antstream teamed up and made a service competitive with stadia, game pass, geforce now, etc.

Yes there are some good games here but quite a few are of no interest to me although they may be of interest to others. I never thought I would say this but free games have become so ubiquitous that from now on I think I need to be selective about which free games I add to my libraries. Free games are a good thing but I now believe you can have too much of a good thing. If you have several hundred games in a library it becomes hard to look through them all when you want to find a new game to play.

"Hey Google/Siri/Bixby check epic on Nov 25" I use Bixby on my phone as it has a dedicated button, it worked, reminder was set. You should have something similar I'm guessing. Hope that helps!

These free Epic Games posts should be banned from Slickdeals. At the very least, cheap games shouldn't be posted until the games are live.

There's zero point to these posts. Epic Games has a free game literally every week. Just download your free game once a week.

The only exception I could see if there was a big game coming up, e.g. Red Dead Redemption 2 or something of that level. No one buys "Antstream Arcade" and regrets not waiting 5 days for it to be given away.

I used to use ant stream on Android. It has a bunch of arcade games available to play and leaderboards and challenges and stuff.
