Pretty sure its 2 slots, both upgradable. The post and website indicate its 2x4GB, and other variants of this same model have much larger RAM capacities. There's a vietnamese unboxing where he shows the same laptop (different ram configuration due to region) and in the bios it says DIMM 1 8GB, DIMM 2 empty https://youtu.be/1eG70HWycKA?t=271

4core cpu a bit better than the previous i5 G7 also better graphix and 10nm. reads good to me. just wonder if the screen is good or looks cheap

This 14 model only have one SSD slot, right? 15 model have two.

Somehow I saw a video that one slot can take 2230 only due to space limit. The other take either 2230/2280. I forgot if that's the case for Inspiron 14.

Correct. This one (5410) has only one SSD slot. It can handle either 2230 or 2280. There is plenty of space - but only one slot.

Even better, AMEX is really prompt in issuing the statement credit. At least, they were to us. Bought on a Monday, the statement credit issued on Friday the same week.

That $599 threshold is inclusive of any tax and/or shipping fee if applicable. To put it another way, if the amount you are charging to the eligible AMEX card for your purchase totals at least $599, you are in. My own purchase with the products alone came under $599 and crossed the threshold when the sales tax was added. As I wrote above, AMEX issued the $120 credit in less than a week.

The general answer is "Yes, they should," but you need to check the fine print with the dock that you are thinking about using, as I have seen all sorts of exceptions stated before.
