If you bought this in-store at Costco, then it's the same price. Also, your local energy company might be selling it at a discount price compared to this deal. Lastly, installation of a thermostat is simple. So, I there's several options where you get more value or cost less.
Ultimately just sharing for options, I know I get voluntold to "help" when family/friends run into issues with these.
