AMC Plus is offering an annual subscription for $1.99 a month [amcplus.com] (so it should be $23.88 a year) as a Black Friday deal.

ADDED: Several people have pointed out you can also get $4 cash back via an offer on some AMEX cards. Check your Amex offers for the one that gives $4 back if you spend at least $8.99 with AMC+. If you've got it, just add the offer to your card and make sure to pay with that card.

Also, FYI, the AMC+ library includes some offerings from Sundance, IFC, and Shudder. I don't think you get the full catalogs of those (I searched some Sundance shows I wanted to see, and most showed up for AMC, but not all).

How to cancel: Yes, you can cancel yourself without emailing customer service, but you need to do it in a web browser, not the app. Go to Settings, click Subscription, and there's a cancel button. Here's a link [amcplus.com], which you can only go to once you have an account created.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I had the same problem. I finally fixed it by going into settings, then privacy, then advertising, then made sure limit ad tracking was unchecked. I reset the advertising identifier, then restarted the roku. Didn't even have to remove and reinstall the AMC+ app. Hope it works for you

Thanks! That works! I actually got an email response from AMC+ rep with the same solution.

We're sorry to hear that you've been having this trouble with playing content on the app. Many users have been able to solve this with a simple change to their Roku settings.

Go to the Roku Home Screen (press the Home button)
Go to Settings > Privacy
Un-check “Limit ad tracking”

Wow--thanks to Idhawaii's brilliant post I didn't have to cancel my subscription. No one on Reddit seemed to have any answers other than using another platform besides Roku. I submitted a support ticket but never heard back. (Shouldn't this be covered in their FAQ?) SlickDeal's consumer forum posts like this have proved to be invaluable!

I can't speak for your particular roku, but AMC+ was on both mine tonight. Go to "Streaming Channels" then select "search." Type in "a," and AMC+ should be one of the options on the right panel.

I would just cancel your old account and create new account if needed.

It appears so, or at least 60% of it is.

If you're looking to watch this for Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul, they're not on here. AMC sold the streaming rights to Netflix. Completely ridiculous if you asked me.
This is actually a pretty great deal because with AMC+ you also get Shudder, Sundance Now, and the BBC America and IFC streaming services, so it's actually 5 streaming services in one. Shudder alone is like $6/month and worth every penny if you're into horror movies. The downside is they don't have an Android TV app (despite having a Fire TV app) and you don't get the streaming channels for Shudder so you can't watch live events like the Last Drive-In.

It's kind of baffling how bad at selling this they are. They call it AMC+ so people automatically complain because it's missing the two biggest AMC shows (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) and they don't make much of an effort to explain everything you get beyond AMC shows. Even at full price it's pretty cheap, but it's handicapped by a dumb, misleading name and a lazy app.
Actually it was recently added to the play store a couple weeks ago. Its under the AMC+ app name. I was using the app on my Android TV TCL 4 series.

I jumped on the deal but please be reminded there is no AndroidTV version of this. I will have to look into possibly sideloading it, but the reviews are not very favorable.

Seems like a great deal. Looks like plans are around $8.99 a month. $24 for a whole year seems like a steal!

what shows are exclusively on AMC+?
Price seems decent, but I just can't justify every single studio having their own subscription even if it is only a few dollars a month

Bring back the good old days with a basic Cable Package ;p

Seems great deal. Also combine with Amex offer 4$ back for spending 8.99$ or more , comes down to 20$. Thanks!
