Can you still view the live video while away from home?
No, that's why I use a mix of Blink XT2 and Wyze v3. XT2 outdoors and Wyze v3 indoors facing outside with a window mount.

Dude it's not the connection it's the quality of the camera that's built in. Daylight is fine but at night it's just crappy. I don't know what blink you have but mine XT2 sucks at night.

This could be motion clips, live view, or a combination of both. Cameras with a recent history of heavy use will display an indicator (i) next to the camera name.
With standard use Blink's batteries should last two years. Standard use is defined as 4,000 five-second events per year (or 40,000 total seconds of video recording, including Live View usage, over two years). More motion clips and more live views means more usage and will result in shorter battery life. Other factors that affect battery life are a slow internet connection, poor wifi strength, and using the camera's illuminator.
