Last month got ViewSonic VX2718-2KPC-MHD 27 Inch WQHD 1440p 165Hz 1ms for same price.
Note, ViewSonic isn't IPS, so lots of debate there.

I think this is a good deal. I bought one for my teen for gaming. His graphics card isn't the greatest so he couldn't take advantage of 1440p anyway. I've have had good luck with ASUS monitors, it's IPS, and I can return it easily if need be. Win win.
