It's all relative - we own two Dyson vacuums and they're great. You pay a premium for overengineering.

Both a $2000 TV and a $200 TV will play the game, but one is better.

A first class ticket and a coach ticket will both get you there, but one is better.

My wife is the farthest thing from being materialistic. But I got this for her as a gift and she absolutely loves it. She can't believe how much less damaged her hair is than it used to be. So while it's certainly expensive, I wouldn't consider wanting healthy hair as materialistic. This thing truly works.

My girlfriend is a make up artist and this she dreams with owning this hair dryer. Maybe some folk will chime in claiming she's materialistic, but she would literally have the dyson over a gucci bag regardless of the price.

I personally have tried it a couple times with the demo units and it's very impressive from a technological standpoint. best comparison I can give you is MacBook trackpads vs the rest. It's worth it.
I bit the bullet last year on a refurb model for Christmas and wow she has been happy - and I must admit her hair looks way better!

Ordered one for the wife, visually this looks nice to just have mounted on the wall and out of the way rather than the gargantuan conair we have to keep in a drawer. Nice travel case too.. thinking of all the perks plus I think with the cold weather my wife will appreciate having her hair dry quicker after a shower. Repped for the deal!

It feels better but does it actually perform better? That's debatable.
My dog loves it though.

It's not travel friendly.

How? Have a link? I have a freedom unlimited and PayPal not bestbuy are listed in the chase offers…
Select PayPal as your payment method when you check out at the Best Buy website, duh...

Also, you can only get 5% though Freedom or Freedom Flex, not Freedom Unlimited.

I just recently purchased the airwrap. I'm more of a nerdy-girl as opposed to a girly-girl and never went through the teenage phase of hair curlers and blowouts and stuff for my hair. Then when I became an adult, decided to teach myself how to do makeup, do my hair, etc etc. I hate, hate, HATED curling my hair. I'd always slip up and the curling iron would always burn my scalp, neck, fingers, etc every single time. Then I tried the flat iron technique and I swear to god, I pulled out half of my hair because of the trial and error process. It's also how I learned that I have AGA (genetic hair loss). I pretty much gave up on curling my hair because it wasn't worth the heat damage to my scalp and loss of hair.

Then I saw the airwrap on someone's insta and I scoffed at the price like many people here. But then I thought about it, there's no significant tugging/pulling of the hair at all, you basically let parts of your damp hair get sucked into the "vacuum" that curls it around the tube and the curl is formed because your hair is dried that way, not ironed with heat. You can use heat if you want (and it will set the curl better) but you can turn it off completely.

I had recently got a bonus and promotion at work and decided to "treat yo self" with the airwrap. I obviously use the hair drier attachment the most and it completely dries my hair in less than a minute. I'm still practicing with the curling tool, but it's actually been pretty fun (and painless) and it gives my hair tons of volume and bouncy curls that I've never had, SUPER fast. Yea, it's expensive but with how convenient it is, the lack of burns and heat damage and the amount of time I save getting ready for nights out, I think it's totally worth it.

I bought the Air Wrap as a gift for my wife and daughter and they love it! They both have thick hair and the Air Wrap dries their hair much quicker and makes it a lot easier for them to style with curls.

That's really interesting because even Dyson says the airwrap isn't for drying. It goes from wet to damp.

This is an excellent deal. Dyson airwrap is usually out of stock and doesn't go on sale much either

Is there any difference of buying from best buy or dyson (if the same deal there) in terms or warranty etc?

How does the Shark HyperAir hair @ $183.99 compare to the Dyson Supersonic @ $319.99? Is the cost difference justified?

Shark HyperAir: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/shar...Id=6473737

Usage: Teenage daughter with long hair - primary; Wife w/ long hair - secondary

Wife was thinking of a hair dryer as a surprise gift for daughter.. Wife first became aware of the Dyson Supersonic but price was a turnoff and found the Shark HyperAir as a lower cost alternative.

Now both are on sale.

Thanks
