lol You're probably the type who buys for looks over quality/functionality.
I owned both and cross referenced them.

560s is the much better headphone for music listening unless you absolutely hate any kind of treble peak. It just sounds higher resolution/clearer, and listening to something like jazz or orchestral music on it sounds really really great! However that treble peak is really annoying if you wanna use them for gaming since it'll make high pitched gunshots, glass breaking, and other *tink* noises pierce a little. Also the 560s doesn't power as easily as you'd think, running it off a ps5 or series x controller didn't allow it to get very much volume for me. So if that's your intended use case, then the pc38x is much better.

The PC38x is a pretty solid headphone with nice sounding bass and enough treble and mids to make the sound pretty balanced, although listening to music probably wont make you go "wow" like a 560s would. Mic is not removable however. Pc38x comes with cloth memory foam earpads as well as velours, 560s has just velours. They're both about the same comfort, build quality, temperature on the ears, and clamp.

As for deals on the 560s, it's $20 off at Best Buy right now, best I've seen it priced at Smilie I own AKG K712's, an HD660s, an HD6xx, and the $1000 Focal Clears, and have owned Sundaras. None of them quite scratch the *same* itch the 560s does when it comes to jazz music, it just has really beautiful sounding upper mids
Great set of gaming headphones

Both Series X controllers and the Dualsense drive these extremely well

Only concerns are:
- somewhat iffy cable that can cause some noise against clothing
- a volume wheel that can be a bit wonky

Watch youtube videos - these are rated the best headphones for both the Series x / PS5

At $120 makes the PS5 3D Pulse and Xbox Headphones look like pieces of trash (esp insulting considering they both run around $100)

Do they still have the new user discount and if so, can it stack with this code?

IIRC, it was $20 for the 37x on BF a couple years ago but have only seen it at $10 for the last few deals on either of these cans.

I made a new account and it's only offering $10 off with the code that looks personalized.

I just tried 10OFF and it doesn't seem to be working anymore, so I think this deals dead(10OFF took 10% off). But with the new account and $10 discount, the price comes out to $119.00 + tax and free shipping which is only a $2.90 difference, so still not bad

shieeet... At $100 I would've snagged it immediately, would've thought about it @ $110, but now @ $120 I think I'll pass, considering the 37X has been like $70 or $80 in the past.

Thanks for checking that out (I was on mobile at the time) and posting the deal

Been waiting for this deal since I missed the last one in early October, thanks! Wondering if there's any other promos out there that are better than the $10 off though...

Anyone have a Sennheiser HD 560s and these to compare? Also curious if anyone knows of a 560s deal for Black Friday....might just cop these.

Thank you OP!

Amazon did away with price matching a long time ago. You have to rely on their algorithms or submit the lower price feedback on the product listing and hope for the best.

Can anyone comment on how these are for calls, zoom, etc? Quality of mic, comfort for long sessions, and so on. Need something better than company issued jabra trash.

They're great. I wear them around the neighborhood on calls and people say the quality of my voice is great. Since they're open back, they're not the best for noisy environments (they let a lot of noise in) and the included 3.5mm cable is a little bit short depending on where your audio source is. It's plenty fine for a phone in the pocket.

It should be noted open back is a plus for gaming. Open back creates a larger soundstage, or the size of the virtual 3D space that is created in the audio. A larger soundstage helps you differentiate sounds that are close vs. sounds that are further away. As noted the negative is it doesn't block out any noise and your audio leaks to the outside.
