560s is the much better headphone for music listening unless you absolutely hate any kind of treble peak. It just sounds higher resolution/clearer, and listening to something like jazz or orchestral music on it sounds really really great! However that treble peak is really annoying if you wanna use them for gaming since it'll make high pitched gunshots, glass breaking, and other *tink* noises pierce a little. Also the 560s doesn't power as easily as you'd think, running it off a ps5 or series x controller didn't allow it to get very much volume for me. So if that's your intended use case, then the pc38x is much better.
The PC38x is a pretty solid headphone with nice sounding bass and enough treble and mids to make the sound pretty balanced, although listening to music probably wont make you go "wow" like a 560s would. Mic is not removable however. Pc38x comes with cloth memory foam earpads as well as velours, 560s has just velours. They're both about the same comfort, build quality, temperature on the ears, and clamp.
As for deals on the 560s, it's $20 off at Best Buy right now, best I've seen it priced at
Both Series X controllers and the Dualsense drive these extremely well
Only concerns are:
- somewhat iffy cable that can cause some noise against clothing
- a volume wheel that can be a bit wonky
Watch youtube videos - these are rated the best headphones for both the Series x / PS5
At $120 makes the PS5 3D Pulse and Xbox Headphones look like pieces of trash (esp insulting considering they both run around $100)

I have my own pair of HD58x with Dekoni pads that i use with the Dualense (then i just use the microphone built into the controller even if it sounds like a tin can) and those are driven so well that I need to set my volume at 80 on COD
Try them worst case return them - they are that good
That being said due to the microphone and volume wheel I'd definitely pay the little bit extra for warranty which covers accidents as well
Thanks for checking that out (I was on mobile at the time) and posting the deal
Thanks!
Thank you OP!

Great for FPS games and in Battlefield 2042 for example, due to the wider sound stage it really brings things to perspective.
Out of all my current and prior gaming heads, I prefer the PC38X's. For the price it dusts more expensive headsets in the quality of the sound. Sure, it's not going to win any fashion shows, but I think most people would rather win where it matters...game on...
Thank you OP!
The HD 560s sound clearly better to me, even for gaming. The bi-directional sounds are clearer for FPS gaming. I bought an add-on microphone from Amazon for the HD 560s.
Works great for Overwatch.
The HD 560s are more comfortable, too. Less clamping force.
I would've guessed $80-$90 based on the PC38X pricing and the 37X pricing in previous years, but guess not? Maybe it'll go closer to or on BF, but who knows. I know it seems like we say this every year, but this BF really blows...

Those are wireless options…
You cannot be serious about comparing the two

Those two are the consensus go to headphones for both next gen systems.
Both cost $100.
Both are trash.
Some people who would buy these wireless headphones would make an exception if it meant much more comfortable and accurate headphones esp considering they are powered from the controller and dont require you to be tethered to the system
