Some people have older ont boxes and have to get upgraded to the newest ones
That happened to me. They have a black brick like thing that they installed in my living room. I connect via Ethernet. I pay $40 every month for 300mb download speed.
I would cancel and sign up for this deal under a new user but I don't want to deal with the possibility of them removing my $40 pricing. It happened prior to the pandemic. It was a steady 40 and then 1 year later it jumped to $$50 or $60, I forget the exact value. Luckily I called in and they gave me the $40 pricing and it's been this way for over a year and a half.
