I had new $40 internet + $25 phone = $65. After the chat, my new estimate bill shows total of $55 for both. Net savings of $10.
There is no modem with Fios. The line comes into your house and connects to a box called an ONT. From there, you connect it to a router. If your ONT is connected by coax cable, you'll need Verizon to reconfigure the ONT to use ethernet. That'll allow you to the router of your choice.

There is some power unit for ONT already installed from Verizone
But i think, i also need a ONT.
Is that included free of cost in Verizon ?
I thought i already have the ONT , so i selected i don't need any rental equipmnet
But its missing the 2nd unit, which has the Ethernet.
is that ONT ?
