This is pretty easy to set up. And don't worry that its woot. Amazon handles returns for them just the same

Anyone have experience using high quality rechargeable batteries in these as far as how long they last compare to lithium or alkaline?
Someone mentioned that they were using these rechargeable lithium batteries with their blink cameras.

Can i buy sync module 2 separately and use xt2? Will i be able to store videos locally?
You can buy the Sync Module 2 and use it with XT2 cameras but only for cloud storage. The XT2 cameras don't support the USB local storage feature of the Sync Module 2. XT2 cameras are cloud storage only.

Is it possible to charge with a cable to the camera itself? Or do you have to take the batteries out and charge/replace?

Not sure. I don't have experience using rechargeable batteries in the xt2. Those were a brand that was mentioned in the previous thread regarding rechargeable lithium batteries.

Good deal.

Just wondering if live view takes a long time to load similarly to the original version? Also had issues trying to view live view when the camera was recording. Have these issues been fixed?

Same here. Ordered 3 used and they were all brand new. Working great so far. Added to existing system easily.

if these cameras lose connection (say a wifi jammer or internet provider outage), then you're hosed (no recordings)?
