Depends on what you're using it for, but the color gamut has been on point for gaming or media editing for me. But I wouldn't compare this to a 1k+ ultra sharp imo. This is more geared for gaming, but I have to say I'm really impressed with how vibrant the colors are. Only setting I enabled was 'dynamic vivid hdr' and did not have to tweak any other settings.

Good price. I downgraded from a 4K to the 32" G7 1440p and I've been super happy. Honestly 4K was tough given the lack of video card availability, I basically could never play at native resolution once NV largely stopped supporting SLI.

Super happy with 1440p Odyssey G7 though, build quality is excellent, screen and OSD are excellent, and I'm sure if you can push pixels in 4K, the 4K G7 will be great too.

it was never $500 LOL.

Last years 27" g7 is 1440p @ 240hz.

This year the 28" g70a is 4k @ 144hz.

I think someone is very confused.

FYI, Bestbuy raised the price back up to $799, but they will still price match. Just did it today and gave them the MS deal. The only reason i didn't order from MS was because I like my local BestBuy and they had it in stock. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/d...aa3f65cb5f
