Hard telling. I've been watching both for awhile. Best I've seen for the 11" was from Costco for $700. With the chip shortages going on, I didn't want to take any chances
I thought about it bc I wanted the better screen but went with 11 pro. Couldn't be happier. 13 inches is WAY too big for tablet. It's too big and heavy to hold for any period of time

Agreed, the 12.9 is more for if you are going to treat it as a laptop (with a keyboard case of some kind), with occasionally using it as a tablet. I use my 11" Pro with the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard as a laptop and as a tablet about equally, and it works great for both.
If you are trying to decide between the 11 and 12.9 I HIGHLY recommend you go to an Apple store or somewhere else where you can handle them in person before buying. As soon as I handled the 12.9 I knew it wasn't the one for me, although it is no doubt great for other people.

12.9 is a better couch companion while the 11 inch is for carrying all over.
