I bought it on Steam because that's where all my games are and I have every bit of confidence that 10, 15, maybe even 20 years from now, my games will still be on there and I'll still have access to them.
GoG's political censorship of the Devotion game was kinda crappy too, but that's a very minor thing.
Still, I hate having my games strung out over multiple stores, so unless some other storefront can beat steam's services, reliability, security, functionality, stability, and potential longevity, I'd rather have my games on steam.
I think it might have been $10 boxed with a GOG code at one point. Passed on it at the time just in case paid DLC was released down the road. About as cheap as it's been recently, though.
I think that's probably a good deal, but then I remember that time I got The Witcher 3 and had to buy the GOTY Edition or whatever of The Witcher 3 to get any kind of deal on the expansions.
And I wonder why should I buy now when it's not even finished anyway? I told myself if it went down to $10 I could probably justify the rebuy when the Gold Edition or whatever comes along.

It hurts to see Cyberpunk 2077 be $10-20 and knowing we lost more Witcher for this… The Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time and set an impossibly high bar nothing has hit for me since.
I thought it was stuck on GOG because CDProjektRed owns both GOG and CyberPunk. Apparently its already on steam though but why would steam be a better option? They use DRM where GOG doesn't? I'm sure I'm missing something but just don't know what it is.
if you compare it to skyrim, GTA, Assasin's Creed, Kingdom Come, Witcher 3, Far Cry.... It will really make you appreciate how great those games are! Those worlds in those games truly feel alive, which i am now appreciating.. Cyperpunk is worth $15 just for the story mode, story is decent, kinda like a blade runner flick... BUT NOT A CENT MORE

But it still has bugs so I'm holding out for < $10.
