I ordered one I've got 2 3080 rigs and 2 3070 rigs. Can't believe a 3060 ti was front page dead for $1699 a week or so ago lol.

This will go well with my $545 webcam from the FP deal earlier today.

But gosh, sure do hope this inflation is transitory 'cause it's a bit extreme, no?

I got my daughter one in February with i7 10700f for 1250 after taxes in February. But there was a crappy one one on here that was front page that had 2 only 2 fans. That was front page for $1699 plus tax 🤷 ♂️ I guess it all depends on how much slick deals makes off of them.

What really kills this deal for me is that it has an I7 which is completely outdated imo. Infact I wouldn't buy a pc or laptop for that matter with anything less than I9 or ryzen equilivent.

To say the i7 is outdated is to say the iPhone is outdated, there are new ones every couple of years, some are outdated. This is the 11700f which is just recently last gen as the 12 series was released. It is not a beast but generally more than adequate for most users.

It's not really great, but it's not bad, in today's market...also, no you couldnt.

You could build a pretty good i5 12600k system with similar specs but overall better quality, airflow and performance, for $900-$1000 without a gpu, but getting a good price on solo gpu is the issue.

Yeah, to say i9 has made i7 remotely obsolete is to not understand how tiers and generations work.

Some gens the i9 performs similar to the i7 of the next Gen, but I'd definitely take a 12th Gen 600k or 700k over a 9th or 10th Gen 900k. And I'd never have a reason to spend the extra on the latest 900k.
