The inflator includes a 12V lead to use your car's battery. I leave mine in the car all the time but live where temperatures make for battery hell half the year so I don't leave a battery in it, rather I leave the 12v lead with it.

I thought batteries were only covered by LSA when sold with a charger or tool. Did something change?

Mine went flawlessly, no issues they sent my replacement battery quickly and asked me to drop off my bad battery at home Depot battery recycling center.

They did attempt a few troubleshooting steps, but TBH I'd expect that from any company.

Same and the pending charge on my CC disappeared. It did not post. So I'm thinking they canceled my order.

Tried calling DT this morning, but got the "Our office is closed due to the holiday" message. I would have thought that they would be open on the busiest shopping day of the year.

Mine was also delivered today and it was originally to be Wednesday. My first time registering for the LSA. Go register online at www.ridgid.com and go to the bottom of the page and in the middle you will see Product Registration. Register with your email account and have the Model Number ready then it will ask for the Date of Purchase and where (Home Depot Store, HD Online and Direct Tools Factory Outlet). Enter the Product Serial Number (one for each battery) then Upload the Email Receipt from DT. Then click Submit. That's it. I just don't know if we will get notify for the registration or not.

Same here, I even emailed a copy of the receipt. Also they want the "Action required" page printed off with name and customer number to mail in with the receipt. But when printing this page, all personal information is greyed out so it doesnt show up on the printed page. ???

it seems pretty odd to ask to mail it in from direct tools...hkteaman must have been lucky before they made a change because i'm getting the same mail in the information to them within 90 days

I got mine delivered today, same issue here with mailing the receipt for LSA. I uploaded the receipt, hopefully they could proceed it because I didn't have the original receipt from the shipping box. The only receipt is the one from my email

I finally received a shipping confirmation via Fed Ex. Unfortunately, Fed Ex sucks so even after three days tracking is showing "Pending" for the estimated delivery date. This happened earlier this month when I bought some auto parts. The seller shipped via Fed Ex. FE LOST the package so the seller had to reship. FE was so slow in delivering that I couldn't use the parts ... it was THAT late!

If you go back into the Dashboard and click on the Action Needed icon, You'll see instructions to complete one of two below items. The first item has a "here" link. That will allow you to upload your email receipt and submit. It will then say it is under review and if you don't hear from them via email in 7-10 business days, please contact them. The easiest way to contact them is via chat after the 7-10 business days. They should be able to verify your uploaded email receipt and confirm LSA. This way you avoid having to send a certified letter with enclosed emailed receipt and printed out submission.

I second this. As a matter of fact, I got on chat with them immediately after I uploaded the receipt. The agent on the chat was able to approve the LSA immediately.
