This should stack with the $60 off $300+ at Adorama offer from PayPal, but the question is if you need a filler item to get the total after tax to $300 ($5-10 filler) vs the subtotal ($31 filler). Has anyone done this and can confirm?

Was considering purchasing these to replace a soundbar. I like that these are smaller footprint setup. With that being said, how do these sound? I want to make sure they would be a worthwhile upgrade to an older Samsung soundbar I purchased from Costco.

I have them. Takes some tweaking but for $269 they do great job for movie surround sound. The wireless sub did better than I assumed. When it comes to music it's OK.

If these are anything like their Quintet system, they are very good. I had mine for almost 10 years before upgrading to a full system. I'm actually using two of the quintets for rears on my system right now. Keep in mind, you will need a receiver.

Thanks so much! I would be running these speakers with an older Pioneer Elite receiver. I just upgraded to the Denon S760H receiver for my man cave home theater set up running the Costco Klipsch 5.0.2 Atmos speakers which I love. Since I have a spare higher-end receiver laying around, I wanted to use it and upgrade my soundbar in another room with these speakers and have been eyeing them out for a while. I also have an Amex deal to get $25 cashback on purchases of $250 or more from Adorama that further sweetens the deal.

Initially I planned on going with these, but changed my plans to have a complete home theatre with separate klipsch speakers that would compensate enough for the fully immersive sound. These come for a fraction of home theatre setup price. A good buy if you are used to wired satellite speakers ona budget. I cannot comment on the sound.

considering that its gonna be around 700 or more with a receiver before you can make this work, is it gonna be better than lets say a q950 samsung soundbar?

I have these as part of my 7.2 set up and really like them. They are wall mountable for any swivel mounts with 1 screw. They have a unique angled back that won't work with some mounts. The sub is powered and wireless and as mentioned way better sounding than expected.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. What else do I need to buy for these to make them dolby atmos? I'm getting the Onkyo TX-NR6050 7.2 reciever. Do I need standing speakers or something else?
