Thank you for reposting this. The discount on this model had jumped up to $649.99, with a previous low of $617.49, so this new deal isn't much higher than the previous low, and the previous deal required a coupon code.

Just as an FYI, anyone with access to EPP, the price is even lower at $579.99, which beats the previous EPP low of $609.99. Ordering this now before I lose it again.

Yes, I did order via EPP site as $579.99 which was the best. Not sure if everyone has access to this one.

Like malacbe said, it is Employoee Purchase Program, and you would typically have access to this discount portal through your work or possibly school.

Screen color reproduction. 72% is already bad.

I just now chatted with a Dell Representative for comparison. Even they are offering only 45% NTSC for low end laptops. Only Premium laptops would have a higher NTSC...

So I don't think that is a deal breaker for this price specifically.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but strictly for photo editing, would IPS with 45% NTSC be worse than non-IPS with 100% sRGB? Comparing it to this Office Depot ASUS VivoBook K513EA-OB74. I chatted in with ASUS Support, and they claim this model has the 300 nits 100% sRGB IPS-level display.

I am still learning about all of this, and even 100% sRGB is only 72% NTSC, but I guess that is still quite a bit better than 45% NTSC when it comes to color accuracy and display. Thanks!

I'm not sure about how the visual difference. I was also evaluating the same. But for my inclination towards performance, Ryzen 7 beat i7 in multithread and hence purchased ryzen 7. Not sure if everyone else in the same situation.

i also like performance and prefer Ryzen, even own AMD stock. If I could see the two displays side by side and there was a noticeable difference, I'd pick the better display over some benchmark results (everything else being equal).

Do they always charge 15% restocking fee if we return it unused ? Just trying to pull the trigger and return if something better comes up in about a week
