I know a quite a few of people interested in these Mac Minis have been looking for the 16gb RAM version. Microcenter in Tustin CA has been selling some open box ones. It popped up every few days over the last week. I picked one up myself and am happy with it. This is the best price for the 16gb version I've seen recently. (I actually scored an openbox one for $701 in July from them, BUT, I thought apple was going to release a new Mac mini in October so I returned it. Oh well, I ended up getting one of these ones last week for $20 more.) If you find a cheaper one, please post.

My use: I don't do video editing. Just some photo editing in lightroom but I need to drive two monitors natively and the M1 macbook air/pro won't do that without displaylink software. I also don't want to shell out 2k for a M1 pro macbook pro. I daytrade so I need the 16gb of RAM to keep Thinkorswim fast.
