Facebook marketplace. What is the projector that you are selling? Depending on what it is, I might be able to recommend a group that targets people that would be more inclined to buy

A new model was $1499.91 at Amazon very early this morning (~1Am EST) for a brief period. I tried to get Dell to price match - they refused. When I woke up this morning, there were none left for sale at Amazon.

I ordered the 135" Elite manual pull down screen from Amazon 2 years ago and it's been great for occasional movie watching. Couldn't justify the motorized one that's 3 times more in cost. I use a Sanus brand projector mount that's pretty sturdy.

I bought this cause I'm sensitive to noise cause projector mounted above sofa. This one much quieter than 3800, and since permanently mounted in theater room, size/weight isn't an issue.

Anyone have a recommendation for a good 4k projector for gaming that is black? My theater room is painted with very dark colors. Light is controlled. I currently have a good 1080p projector and really want to upgrade to 4k. But it must be a projector with a black case. Drives me crazy that all these projectors are white. I guess I could paint it if I really needed but I don't want to do that unless needed.

Any suggestions?

I have had the 4000 since 2018. No complaints whatsoever, although it is a dedicated viewing room, so not a ton of hours get put on it.

It has great image quality, and really great features: I love being able to use a full 2.35:1 screen (when the movie is so formatted) and then press one button to zoom out to still fit 16:9 on the screen whenever needed.

Crazy thing is, I paid $1240 (it is the 4000 not the 4010, but out-the-door and new from B&H) three years ago.
