I haven't seen a Black Friday event like this before from Apple direct. I have to wonder if this isn't related to the upcoming lost revenue from the App Store purchases. This is pretty cool.
They've done the same for a couple of years or more now.
if you have the correct versions of the iPhone needed to use with these, this is a great alternative to Lo-Jack. Just remember to change the battery in about year and hide it in a good place that's not easily accessible.
anyone know if this deal is one per person? i got $900+ of Apple gift cards to use and don't actually own any Apple products. Might buy a whole bunch of these to give out as gifts and it wouldn't hurt to get $225 back in more gift cards

What is everyone buying with apple gift cards? Even if you buy more AirTags you still end up with a gift card at the end. I'm not so sure I'm that interested in being forced to buy more apple stuff. I think I'd rather just get the AirTags cheaper like from some of the other deals or through the Chase rewards, than to pay full price and get a small value gift card.
