Shark is one of the top models of vacuums in the US. They make everything from budget to expensive. This isn't a generic brand name made by Costco. Shark is the original brand name.

My query was more focused on the "Performance" model/line rather than the "Shark" brand. I searched for this model at other stores to get reviews, but I couldn't find it. Do you have any idea if it's comparable to Apex, Vertex, or another model?

shark is known as consumerist junk for the most part. They arent top dogs by any means if you are talking about reliability or cleaning power.
