You can only get one $15 target gift card per account. You can make another account to get the 2nd if you want.

I was thinking about doing this same thing but swap target for best buy.

I think Best buy also has the same buy 100 in Apple GC get 15 back in Best Buy GC.

So i see two different apples gift cards...and each of them says $15 back. When i add one of each, i see two $15 promotional target gift cards in my cart. BUT when i go to pay, cart gets updated to just one gift card. Damn

It's not online only. They have the $100 gift cards in a big display in the front of the store. Ring them up in two transactions and you're golden. It says online only, but the store should have a bunch of $100 Apple gift cards there.

Just want to warn people who buy iTunes gift cards in store that they should be aware of the potential of the gift cards/code not working. Last year there were several people who were not able to redeem their iTunes gift cards. Not sure if they were able to get refunds, but I recall some folks buying multiples and all of them had $0 balances.

for instore how does the target gift card ring up? For example at the self service kiosk do you have to pick up an scan a target gift card or does it just print on the receipt?

You grab one from right above the checkout screen. You can even use the same target gift card multiple times instead of getting 2x $15. You do need separate transactions.

I just did this tonight when you are scanning the Apple gift card at the self checkout a screen will pop up saying grab a target gift card and scan it leave the pop up on the screen if your store is like mine there will be a target gift card directly above the screen grab one and scan the back of it and it will automatically add the $15 to it

this overall yields you with 40% gift back; or 40% cheaper off just getting an apple tv 4kgen 2

its pretty much puts it in line with the 1st gen pricing without all the hoops to jump through so its solid for the idea but its a matter of perspective if the target or BBY GC will get consumed as well as the $50 apple GC this year to make it less of an unknown

the apple tv HD with new remote might be another option; where it makes it to $70 net expense if you just want it for the remote experience
