The Le Creuset 24 cast lid fits the 8 qt . It covers the 6 qt but sets on the rim only
Other: The new Pro inner pot is slightly lighter gauge than the D.E.P and its induction clad on the bottom is thinner. It's o.k. but not the same extra heavy duty quality that impressed me with D.E.P. It's exterior is also satin not highly polished. Only extended use will reveal differences in stain resistance and thermal performance on the stovetop if any.

Almost certainly a pricing error mix up with the 6qt model, all-time lowest price ever at Amazon was $115 for comparison.
