Did you convince them?

Things are getting bad.

Happened today:
I went to samsung.com to buy a on sale earbud case for $12.50 Product page said $12.50. When I checked out it wanted $24.99. So I call CS and she says buy it at full price, then after it ships, call for price adjust, gave a phone number. Said easy, gave her info too. I'm like thinking, HMM, pay full first? Curiositly killed the cat. I did it. So I call back after it shipped and 2 calls and 1 transfer later (talked to 4 people total, overseas), and 40 min later, I'm getting fed up. So I tell him, hey, It's been an hour and I can't spend much more time getting a $12.50 price adjustment and added that I didn't mean it personally. He got suddenly extra nice, said he'd take care of it, and needed to put me on hold. He said he never takes things personally and thanked me for my sensitivity. I was like 'hmm' again. He put me on hold. I had a funny feeling he was going to hang up. I used the internet for 25 min more watching the phone be on hold, then hung up. I'm put a 'Refused shipping' note on the door for that order, which is arriving tomorrow.

Happened to me 4-6 weeks ago:
I order on subway.com, paying for the order with my paypal. I go down there and they are closed. I see them cleaning up. I'm waving them to come to door. They are ignoring me and looking at me like I'm some rando. Finally one comes to door and I say I paid for an order online, why you closed? She's just says, "it's not my fault" and tries to dismiss me. I say, can't you take my number and have this straighten up. She's just says 'it's not my fault' again. She's putting on fake 'threatened' body language because I'm 6'2" and strong. I hate that. So, I try to contact store next day a few times. They never answer their phone. I try online. Spell out whole thing with screenshots and everything. I get a subway email back that completely does not acknowledge the problem and asks me to fill out the a survey. Online, I fill out paypal forms to get money back. Full screenshots, well written page on the problem. They send me something saying Subway has 4(?) days to respond. I'm thinking, subway going down. Subway probably not going to respond even. Then I get a canned email from paypal saying that transaction is not covered. Whatever that means. The world is going crazy. Something like this happens to me once or twice a year now.

I've asked, is it me? too many times. The results are in, It's them. No one has any work ethic anymore.

Only two reviews on the Bridgehaven Rain Jacket (men's). Anyone have any feedback on this rain jacket? Thanks.

I have the Cor cirrus version with the hood. It's two years old and I wear it year round all the time. For an ultra lightweight layer, it wears well. The dwr finish still works, insulation is great, materials quality is very good overall. It breaths well too. Obviously, it's built for backpacking, so it's not "tough". If you have webbing rub across it for hours (straps) hiking, it will pill up with too much friction. This can be cleaned up easily with a clothes shaver and a I can't really fault it because of the lightweight design.

I also made an order on the last deal and it came in 3 days with their free shipping.

Not really trying to ruin the fun, but on the last recent Mountain Hardware slickdeal, I purchased a puffer coat. It took Lasership 10 days to even get it to my local hub & in the midst of that they lost tracking. On 11/22 I got a text that it was delivered when it obviously wasn't. How can you scan it on a truck, a minute later scan it en route then a minute after that scan it delivered? Just be prepared not to receive your merch from a very crooked delivery service & have to try to convince MH to send you a replacement.

I ordered 2 puffer jackets and 2 fleece's from the sale they had a couple weeks ago. Jackets run a little big so I went down a size. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and did not have any shipping issues like the other guy

Wish that Kor Cirrus was hooded - looking for a great synthetic and more durable alternative to my ghost whisperer. Got the Derra from last sale but doesn't seem to be on par in warmth and much heavier, but haven't truly tested it yet. Also got the Apline Glen but wasn't unless with it's lack of loft, even though it was 650 fill, stayed rather flat. So now I'm kind of worried about all these MH deals, they seem to be closeouts of poor products that they don't want in their catalog anymore. Wearing the fleece now though, enjoy that but probably with the $25 that I paid for it.

BTW no shipping issues for me, was very fast.

The $6 for return shipping kills the deal for me. Never bought this brand so don't know the sizing and don't want to pay $6 to return if it doesn't fit. Wish there was a Happy Returns option or something

I have found MH clothing to run extremely small, especially in kids sizes though not limited to kids only

Kor cirrus cannot replace ghost whisperer because there is no insulation for the sleeve part

You can activate "free return" in PayPal and PayPal will cover your return cost if you use PayPal for the payment.

Loved and gf loves light down jacket I got her from them but the last order was not fulfilled and the website doesn't work properly (just went to get a closeup of a different colored jacket and I got a closeup of the default model). Irritating.

Systems MH. I shop on Patagonia and NorthFace, if a product is unavailable, I know that before checkout.

Does anyone know if the Bridgehaven Rain Jacket is breathable? Or is it like wearing a plastic bag? Also is it packable? I don't see anything in the description saying it was.
