It looks like this is one of those physical copies that requires a download to play. The 20 year old games may be too advanced for this era to copy to a memory card.

From a quick search, it looks like both games are on the cartridge.

But handheld is more valued to me for a game of this type so I went switch over PS5.

It definitely requires a download to play on the Switch. Very annoying, and then it constantly nags you to agree to their online services with no option to just say PLAY OFFLINE
