Friends told me battlefield has a ton of glitches too. They're both awful in different ways.

Basically pick your poison.

I've heard pretty bad things about this cod. Glitches, graphics etc. Lots of room for improvement. What are your thoughts? Have any of you played it? I've been playing cod for years and was thinking of getting it for ps5.
It's a typical COD. Mayhem and fun. I enjoy it. For $39 no brainer.

I try the trial on the PS5 and the graphics were horrible at times which is depressing considering it should be better than Cold War graphics .. hit registry was not good either as I am dumping into the enemy player show me twice and I'm dead exact same gun then add campers , snipers and shotguns every other Call of Duty out there with different skin

If without issue, base on gameplay and more user base, which one is the go to?
They both populate well, it really comes down to your play style.

If you like using vehicles, having a ton of people in a match that have to work together, big maps, tired of just team death match- choose BF

If you enjoy killstreakes, rather solo carry, smaller maps - choose COD

Call of Duty has always been more fun to me than Battlefield. But the new Battlefield is terrible and should be avoided until its many issues are fixed.

EDIT: It's currently one of the most negatively reviewed games on Steam.

To me it's one of the most fun COD games in a long time. Sure there are minor issues, but not enough to detract from the overall fun of the game.

No, but the dlc roadmap for the year is free, so it might be better long term. If you havent played Cold War, an entire year of DLC is already out for that game and it's much better than vanguard.

Usually i'd say BF as it's a better game, but BF just launched with bugs and a plethora of stuff missing from the base games. Also it's not on sale yet.

This is the first time I've ever seen a COD game drop this low after only being available for a month. If you have to buy one today, go with Vanguard. But if you can wait 2-3 weeks, wait for BF to drop in price. Now is a great time to be a patient gamer.

It's the same as every other Call of Duty, as far as gameplay goes. There is absolutely nothing special about this one. It does have tons of issues with multiplayer. Bad connections. Glitches with killstreaks. UI issues, such as it showing that you have new unlocks to check out, when you've already checked everything out. Horrible spawn points on some maps, which cause you to continually respawn directly in front of an enemy's gunfire, so you die before you even get to move. The list goes on.
