Friends told me battlefield has a ton of glitches too. They're both awful in different ways.

Basically pick your poison.

Yeah, I am a savvy software engineer and I find this super confusing, I weep for all the non-tech parents trying to buy this game. If you buy the cheaper one it will work just fine on series X but you won't get the stuff that is enhanced for series X... And no way to update physical.
I mean like the cross gen bundle is series X compatible, but on the cover it states "cross gen included Xbox One + Xbox Series X|S" implying that this *should* be compatible with the series S. However since this is a physical version I fully doubt it will be. Overall finding the correct version of Vanguard to buy is unnecessarily complicated as to what's even being bought.

Higher refresh rate and FOV are only available on the next generation consoles.
FOV slider is on PS4 as well.

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker for Sega is better than Battlefield 2042 in it's current state

Do not want to start fanboy wars. Honest question.
Does this game have a clear advantage in PS5 or Xbox Series X? I am tempted by cross platform version but honestly I will rarely if ever use the Xbox One anymore.

Tried a quick search online and didn't see any major differences except for 1 recent post saying PS5 version could support dual sense features like adaptive triggers.

EDIT: Ordered both. Will research more by the time they get here and return one.
PS5 hooked to 77" OLED (4k 120), and Series X in theater with 120" projector (~4k 60). Decisions, decisions...
so you couldn't google the graphical difference ? I don't understand your question, you mentio your TVs 1 being 60hz and 1 being 120hz. just google if either system supports 120hz ? no?

Have you heard about the Blizzard Activision lawsuits? No one should be buying this or any of their products UNTIL things are fixed there. The sad thing about the world today is you can't force change in corporations unless it hits affects their bottom dollar.
As we type on our China made phones and play games on our China made consoles.

I have been researching this after I posted my comment earlier, and what I learned so far is that for 120hz mode runs at 2730x1536p resolution and 4k does 60 fps. Both ps5 and series X seem to be pretty much on par in both modes quality wise, but some said PS5 was able to maintain higher fps more consistently. In my case, if I dont care for the ability to use the game on box Series X and Xbox One, PS5 is probably better as I can play in 120hz more on the LG TV and I am excited about the adaptive trigger support.

Hope this helps anyone on the fence like me.

Seriously?!?! This has nothing to do with china. Read the news! It's corporate America!

Do you think it will go down to $35 on the 24th? Walmart ad says the BF price will be revealed then.

It does, but if you add it now, it's $39 dlls, which is how much this post has it going for. My question is: if you think this will be even lower, to $35, tomorrow. In the Walmart Ad scan its says 'BF price will be revealed on the 24th'.

Also, if you add FIFA 22 now it has a Black friday price tag, so we know that will be the price through the holidays. CoD does not have that tag now. I believe CoD will be $5 cheaper tomorrow, but not for sure. Just wanted to see other's thoughts.

Call of Duty has always been more fun to me than Battlefield. But the new Battlefield is terrible and should be avoided until its many issues are fixed.

EDIT: It's currently one of the most negatively reviewed games on Steam.
