Can it do 4k@60Hz through the USB-C alt mode?

That information is missing. It just says 4k@30Hz for mini displayport, HDMI and VGA.

Also, never heard of the website. Trustworthy?

They're actually one of the old school computer equipment / networking systems suppliers like Provantage. They were the QVCs of technology when everything was mail-order and you had big catalogs mailed to you.

So so low end USB-C dock, will only do 4K @ 30Hz, only supports Thunderbolt as USB-C 3.1 rev 2.

Not a bad price, but if your plan is to power 4K external monitor(s), look elsewhere.

Don't buy this, wait and buy a thunderbolt 4 version, miles better for a dock.

Thunderbolt 3 docks are fine. Thunderbolt 4 is only an evolution of TB3. But TB4 and TB3 are both quite a bit more expensive.

I suppose targus name worth something? But you could find USB c hubs that does all those and more off Amazon for this price all day everyday with more ports.

This only support PD of 60w.
