What are you planning on doing with it? My boot drive (960 EVO NVME) has been powered on for 12775 hours. That is 532 full 24 hour days of power on time. So far it has 29.8TB written. At this rate, 600 tbw would be 29 years of 24/7 operation. (although this 960 EVO 1TB version is rated at 400 TBW)

Not the 980 Pro, so no DRAM. But still a good deal.

What is DRAM and why is it important?

Seems right now we are in a ddr4 glut, no one's building computers cuz there's no GPu and amd doesn't have a low priced apu, and Intel is too buisy pleasing their shareholders killing the earth with space heaters.

You would think they would have just included DDR instead of slc and gave us pci 3.0 but the sn850 took ole Sam by Surprise!

I just put one in my Alienware 17 r5 and it is a happy laptop again. No more notices of a full drive, and updates have plenty of space to download and install. Luckily the SSD that came with the Alienware was a Samsung, so I was able to use the Samsung Data Migration software to clone my OS drive over. Took that old 256 GB NVME SSD and put it in the 980 box as a backup drive in the event of failure.

***EDIT***
I was thinking of grabbing the WD SN750 1TB at Best Buy for $119, but cost, availability and ease of cloning sealed the deal for the Samsung for me. I know the 980 does not have DRAM, but I'm not experiencing any issues. The specs and reviews all say the 980 is a step up over the 970 EVO plus. The next step up from the 980 is the 980 PRO which is a 4x4 and more expensive.
