Pretty much the best desktop deals this Black Friday so far. While there are solid deals on i7's, I really hate i7-11700K CPU's in general and 5600x just provides way better performance for the heat and power consumption. It is especially important in pre-built's like this.

Corporateperk.com offers 10% points from Employee Purchase Program, however I can't get a working coupon code to stack with it. It is still cheaper overall. I am getting $1741 on 5600x and 3080, 10% points brings it to $1567 which is $50 cheaper than non-EPP.

I will pull the trigger if I can get one more coupon code to stack, also hoping for HP to offer a more loaded configuration on Black Friday for 5600x. A bit more memory and disk space, anything!

This is actually a repost of a deal I posted yesterday, but you wouldn't know at a glance because they completely screwed up the title when they made it front page. (It's the one with pavilion 5700g for $1026.)

My original title included a few pavilion and omen configurations, as the whole intent of it was to list several good configurations of both Pavilion and Omen with updated pricing. They made it look like a Pavilion-specific post, and highlighted one of the less popular configurations to boot. (I'm not bitter lol)

Also, I wasn't aware at the time, but others are reporting edu does work with 10gamer2021 code making this 3080 build $1566.

Getting "code not applicable" with every code I've tried. Weird.

Edit: Codes worked when I logged out. Looks like the codes aren't working with my EPP login; HP isn't stacking the EPP discount with the 10% like last time.

That's seems overly optimistic. I would guess rather 10 months to break even. And that's assuming you can mine ethereum for another 10 months and full hashrate, which the card probably won't allow. This being said, mining will easily knock a few hundred of that already great price.

Yeah, same for me. I mentioned it in my original post which probably gets overlooked more since they made it frontpage. Also, if you have EDU, it reportedly works with 10gamer2021 code for a slightly better discount.

You are getting HP mother board and HP graphics card. Probably doesn't have the same the same resale value as experienced manufacturers.

I got a piece last year with a 3090 configuration and if knew it had HP mobo and gfx card, I wouldn't have bought it

I got one these delivered 2 days ago. It was LHR and overheated at even the most moderate memory OC.

Ugh, close to a paperweight for mining purposes.

Basically every build after august is lhr. They don't make non lhr apart from founders, which are very very rarely used in prebuilts
