Ordered this omen 30L ryzen 5 5600X, RTX 3080, 10/21/21 …. 11/25 was the est. ship date, 11/30 for delivery. On their email order progress bar, Assembly didn't "start" til late into November, and received an email about " start porting over your data from your old computer and get ready to receive your new one !"

I gave them a call 2 days after the 25th because the 25th landed on thanksgiving so I understand that. I was informed the PC was built and it would be shipped soon.

Now today ( 11/29 ) ONE day before original est. delivery date I've received this email…. " You are a valued HP customer and we greatly appreciate your business. Your satisfaction is always our number 1 priority.

As a direct result of unexpected supply constraints, we now expect your order to ship on a revised date of 12/16/2021. "

Absolute garbage. Not only that but they have this new deal right here that came out which appears to be even cheaper than what I paid….. they are holding peoples money and aren't able to produce and then started ramping up more " sales " offerings.

Beware of this. If you don't care how long you have to wait and dealing with horrible communication from HP then feel free. They had me sucked in from this deal and here we are.

Cancel it before 90 days or you can't charge it back from most credit cards.

Lol that's the reason I canceled my order and found a deal somewhere else. Cancelling my order was harder than scaling a mountain, took almost half a day to get through someone. I got lucky only when I called their Sales person, magically they were there. Trying to get to someone at post sales service was cricket. Mine was ordered on 10/16 and today estimated delivery was pushed to 12/21. It was funny they were trying so hard to keep my order not cancelled, was offered $30 credit, 2 year HP care pack dunno what was that - I insisted it be cancelled and finally they took the request to cancel. They kept saying its still a request not a guarantee. Heck with that, I am planning to file a chargeback if I get denied to my cancellation request.

HP annoys me because they charge when you order, not when it ships. I don't mind paying right away, but ship the darn thing!
