You guys all know that kaspersky is Russian owned and headquartered. Why would you install Putin spyware knowingly on your machines? Read the book sandworm. Wouldn't touch kaspersky with a 10 foot pole.

You're pretty much limited to one year with this deal. But for the price you can't beat it. Another poster mentioned free after rebate ones he had stacked up from years past, but Kaspersky rebates are apparently a thing of the past now. I haven't seen one in a very long time. Don't let the one year duration trip you up; grab this while it lasts. You're not likely to find as good a deal in the near future.

Everybody has what works for them. I've tried all of the major brand antivirus packages over the years, and Kaspersky was the one I locked into maybe a dozen years ago. I've bought nothing else since, and it's never let me down. It stays out of the way, doesn't hog resources, and updates are issued pretty much daily. My computers that are internet connected (4 of them) run fast and smoothly for year after year. ESET may be just as good for all I know, but Kaspersky is my huckleberry.
