You guys all know that kaspersky is Russian owned and headquartered. Why would you install Putin spyware knowingly on your machines? Read the book sandworm. Wouldn't touch kaspersky with a 10 foot pole.

Much better than Windows Defender and the rest of them. In fact I think Kaspersky is the best AV out there. The only thing is that they spy on you from Russia. My Hikvision cameras are probably compromised from the Chinese as well and who knows what other software running is spying on you so it doesn't bother me as much to use the best software for the task at hand.

I've used the key to activate a previous version 3 years after it was purchased and it still worked.

AV Comparatives and PC Mag typically rate Kaspersky and Bitdefender in the top with ESET a little further down. For older/dual CPU machines ESET having a smaller footprint

Ive has ESET for over 10 years. I like the low resource usage and it's highly rated. From what I read, Kaspersky is a bit above ESET in detection. I went ahead and stocked up on Kaspersky because of its price. If ESET stayed at $20 I would have kept buying it.

Kaspersky stole my crypto from one of the accounts that I was using on the machine
Had to reformat the disk and move all my crypto offline
